Charm Necklaces

Charm Necklaces

A while back I used to do bead parties - I would bring all my millions of beads to your house and you would invite all your friends and we would sit and make all kinds of bracelets and earrings all night long. Those days are behind me now - but I still have a million beads and I still love making things.

Have you seen the charm necklaces that are sort of the rage right now?

I have seen quite a few of them and think they are darling -
so I busted out my bead collection and went to work!

I made two separate necklaces: A black one

and a pink one.

Then I made bunch of different charms to go on each necklace.
I made them on Lobster Clasps so I could change them out if I want too.
I can do all black or I can do black and red - or add a pink -
just whatever I feel like for the day.

I made some with lots of beads and chain.

and some I did really simple with just the chain or a chain with a bead at the end. I only added two-three stands per clasp - depending on how bulky the charm was.

I love this because I can wear the necklace really chunky if I want too,
like this picture that has four charms - roughly 8-10 strands.

Just ignore my growing baby belly!

Or I can wear just a couple and keep it more simple -
This one only has five strands and two of them are just chains.

I love them and can't wait to make a few more charms!
I think it would be really fun with some really funky-gunky beads,
and really sweet with just white and silver.

I am linking to these great parties!

these are so cute. I may have to try this out. I have a lot of left over beads that are only like 3 left, this would be good to use them up. Awesome job
