I painted my dryer!

Two weeks ago, my husband cleaned out our garage,
put our spare dryer up for sale and sold it!
So - In True Murphy's Law Fashion -
our dryer died the next week.

Nice.

We quickly jumped on KSL and bought a better dryer for not much more than what we sold our spare for - No worries!

Except for the bit of rust that was on top of the dryer -

And there were some other little marks that sort of drove me crazy -

So I rummaged through my spare paint -
found a can of Rustoleum White and sprayed the top!

And it looks so much better!!

It pretty much looks brand new - and I love it!

Do you have rust on your washer/dryer? Go ahead and try it!

Ooh, I was totally considering doing this the other day! I was just wondering if my washer and dryer were a fun color like turquoise or green if i would enjoy laundry any more... :)Now I really want to paint them, since you did it first...

mmm good to know! The movers aren't too gentle with our washer and driver whenever the army moves us!!

That's awesome! I would have never even thought of it, I would have just been annoyed by it ever time I walked by...way to take control!

Too funny, I have that very same dryer with those exact rust spots in need of some painting. Thanks for the tip!

I live in an apartment that included the washer and dryer. The other day I left a pen on top of the dryer and it stained the dryer. I was worried about what to do when we move. Now I know! Thank you!!!
