Metal Flower Magnets

metal flower magnets 12

A couple weeks ago I showed you a picture of these magnets and gave you a little teaser – and here I am – Finally sharing with you how I made them!  I am sort of a magnet snob – I like my fridge to look nice and clean and the last thing I need/want is a funky pig or fake ketchup bottle magnet junkin’ it up– Just my personal opinion – if you have either of these – good for you! We just have different taste – but we can still be friends – mmmmkkkay!!

First thing first: Lets gather up our supplies – We need:

Metal Flower Magnets

I found these metal sheets at Hobby Lobby.

Second: Using the Nesting Bloom Die Cut, I cut the metal.

I used three flowers per magnet.

Third: I poked a hole in the middle of the first flower and attached the brad.

Fourth: I hot glued all three layers together.

Fifth: I bent the edges a little bit to give it some depth.

Last: Glue your magnet to the back and you are done!

I love them on my fridge and think they would be super cute in a little girls room or in your office -

You can use whatever middles you want – I made some with jewel middles that are just as cute – so if you find some cute brads that match a spot in your house or if you are a magnet snob like me – get busy and make up a few! They would even make cute birthday gifts for your girlfriends!

These are so cute and you do make them look so easy. Using metal is such a unique idea. I would love it if you would stop by and link this project up to the crafty link party going on right now at Lines Across My Face.
