Lighted Skeleton Garland {Tutorial}

If you saw my post yesterday, then you know that I am kind of lovin’ skeletons right now!
So I made this really cute lighted ribbon garland complete with skeletons!

I even took pictures so I could share with you how to make it! yay!!

All you need is:

Orange Lights (50 counts)

Here is a close up view of the skeletons – I bought 2 packs of 4 at Dollar Tree for a buck each = $2!!

I cut up the garland and tied them onto the light strand about every 8-9 lights.

Next, I ripped up a bunch of fabric into strips and cut them about 5 inches long and tied them on.

I tied them on in a pattern and used 4 strips in between lights.

And it’s pretty much that easy!! I love the end results!

It’s a little bit of spooky and cutesy combines once again!

I love it with the lights on…

and during the day with the lights off! (but they don’t stay off for long because my kiddo loves then plugged in!)

Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend crafting!!

Such a fun way to use those $1 skeletons! I've never thought to 'embelish' basic lights! You've opened my eyes!
